Advanced Lactation Consultant

Lactation consultants play a vital role in supporting breastfeeding individuals and their babies. With well-seasoned board-certified lactation consultants, we are equipped to address all your breastfeeding needs so that you can meet your goals. Whether you are a new mom or this is your fourth time around, each breastfeeding experience is unique! If you are experiencing challenges such as pain with breastfeeding, feeding multiples, maintaining milk supply, or other concerns, or even if you are doing well but just want some reassurance, we can help.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound can be an effective treatment for mastitis and clogged ducts, as it helps to reduce inflammation and promote tissue healing through deep tissue penetration and increased circulation. This non-invasive approach may alleviate pain and facilitate milk flow, providing relief for nursing mothers.

$50 for one (1) 15-minute treatment
$100 for three (3) 15-minute treatments
Consult is an additional fee.

Feeding & Newborn Care Workshop

We provide a number of educational opportunities throughout the Charleston, SC are to help prepare you for this transformative time in your life. These are private classes for you and your family and include topics such as:

Breastfeeding
Childbirth
Baby care

All workshops are run by a trained professional in pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, breastfeeding, pumping, all feeding, mental health, yoga, and more.

Minimum of 3 registered participants required, maximum of 12.

Visit our office and try out a range of popular pump options to find the right pump setup for your needs!

Independent access: $25

30 mins of support in finding the right pump from a lactation specialist: $50

Full pump and flange fitting with a lactation specialist is available for $150

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga classes run in 8-week cycles, incorporating breath work and techniques to prepare your body and mind for childbirth.

While single-class attendance is available, we recommend committing to the full 8 weeks to get the most out of the classes.

Drop-In: $25 per class

8-Week Commitment: $150 (2 free sessions)

Newborn Night Nurse

We offer newborn care overnight to allow exhausted families to get some rest. The benefit of hiring a “newborn night nurse” is to have someone teach you all there is to know about newborns and postpartum care for moms. With an expert on the scene from sundown to sunup, you will feel energized and competent the next day to care for your little one. Start planning in the third trimester for best results.

Perinatal Mental Health Support

Our certified perinatal mental health professional (PMH-C) provides information, resources, and support to individuals and families navigating the emotional challenges that can arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Our aim is to promote awareness, understanding, and early intervention, ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby.

Prenatal Doula

A prenatal doula provides support throughout pregnancy for families who want the benefits of a doula without birth support. She provides education, guidance, and reassurance to help you prepare for birth and the transition into parenthood. Support may include prenatal classes, birth planning, and in-person, phone, and virtual visits tailored to your family’s needs.

Birth Doula

A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother before, during, and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. She is hired during pregnancy and becomes a liaison between her and the medical professionals. Our doula can come to you at your Charleston or Summerville area home.

Postpartum Doula

A postpartum doula is a professional support person trained in the needs of the family in the days, weeks, and months after the addition of a new baby. Our doula can come to you at your Charleston or Summerville area home.

Sibling Doula

A sibling doula is a trained support person who cares for older children while their mother is in labor and giving birth. She provides comfort, reassurance, and age-appropriate support while helping siblings understand and feel included in the birth of their new baby. Our doula can support your family at your Charleston or Summerville area home or birth location.

Walk In Wednesday

Between 8:00am and 12:00pm on any Wednesday, any mother can walk in Lactation Station and More for any problem or issues.

The Lactation Network is a DME (Durable Medical Equipment Provider) that bills multiple insurance companies. We are contracted with TLN to provide lactation services with prior approval from TLN. Insurance coverage depends on which service you need and what insurer you work with.

For those without insurance, we strive to make our services affordable to all – We offer military discounts, sliding scale fees, and payment plans. No one should be without help! Contact us to discuss your options.
