Our Team

Sarah Glenn, IBCLC, CBE, CD, RYT, NCS, PMH-C

I am dedicated to supporting women in any facet of life. Encouraging, empowering, and guiding through classes, one on one consultations, pre and postnatal, and virtual etc. My career in this field stems from the need for woman to have research-based evidence with empathy taught to them. Birth, breastfeeding, and parenting are the most powerful parts of a woman’s life. As a doula, lactation consultant, teacher, and yoga instructor I am able to connect with women and guide them through uncharted territory. In my spare time I am a wife, mother of 7, grandmother of 10, herbalist, avid reader, nature lover, and wandering soul.

Trishona Harris, Doula

Trishona Harris has completed a doula mentorship as well as currently training to become a certified doula. She works in Nursing services at The Ralph H Johnson VA and also attends Trident University pursuing a degree in nursing. She became a doula to help combat the maternal mortality rate during and shortly after birth.” Motherhood is a beautiful experience and I believe not having the proper support can in some ways taint that experience.”

Danni Dixon, B.A, CBE, Certified Full Spectrum Doula

Danni Dixon Has Been In Reproductive Community Health since 2012 using a Holistic Approach to Educate, Serve, and Support Others in their health and wellness journeys. While completing her undergraduate studies in Public Health, Wellness, and Nutrition and exploring opportunities in Sexual Health Education & Maternal Health she began her training as a Doula. Since then, she has become a Certified Full Spectrum Doula, a Trained Lactation Professional, and a Trained Placenta Encapsulator who has served families across the East Coast of all races and orientations. She feels blessed to be able to do what she loves and support families throughout life’s momentous transition.

Jess Westberry, NCS, PPD

My passion for helping families transition into parenthood started when I was a teen and babysitting all the newborns. It was easy to see even then that motherhood was a hard job, and someone needed to help. Becoming a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula was a journey I took seriously to make my dreams come true, but experiencing pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, and motherhood helped round out my role. “Unless you’ve had a child, you can’t possibly understand!”

Trisha Marquis, RN, CLC

Trisha enjoys a fulfilling career as a professional registered nurse since 2006. She has grown professionally through each and every nursing role she has undertaken, but especially that of a public health nurse.  Her experiences have been both community-based and community oriented, from long-term care case management to maternal-child home visitation. She enjoys partnership development and program planning activities.

Trisha has lived in Summerville, South Carolina since 2015, when she decided to escape the snow of Wisconsin and enjoy a quality of life in a warm beach area. She loves golfing, and boating and fishing with her family.
